The YouTube GIF Comments extension is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or identifying information about you.
The extension functions by searching for GIFs through a secure backend proxy. When you search for a GIF, your search term is sent to our serverless function on Vercel, which then communicates with the Giphy API to retrieve results. No information about your YouTube account or your identity is sent during this process.
We do not store your search queries. All communication between the extension and our backend proxy is encrypted via HTTPS.
Our extension uses the Giphy API to provide search results. By using the search feature, you are interacting with Giphy's services. We recommend reviewing Giphy's Privacy Policy for more information on how they handle data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
